Alan B. Abramson joined Datascope's Board of Directors in August 1996 and was appointed Chairman of the Compensation Committee in December 1998. Mr. Abramson has served as President of Abramson Brothers, Inc. since 1972. Mr. Abramson is an independent director. Mr. Abramson received an AB from Oberlin College and a JD from Columbia University School of Law.
David Altschiller joined Datascope's Board of Directors in November 1982. Mr. Altschiller has served as a consultant to the Corporation since 1998 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Altschiller Assoc., LLC since January 2001.
Robert E. Klatell joined Datascope's Board of Directors in September 2003 and was appointed Chairman of the Nominating / Governance Committee in December 2003. Mr. Klatell currently holds the position of CEO at DICOM Group plc, a publicly held company (London Stock Exchange) providing information capture and communication solutions. Mr. Klatell has been serving in this capacity since the beginning of 2006. He
served as Executive Vice President of Arrow Electronics, Inc. from July 1995 until December 2003 and served on the Board of Directors of Arrow Electronics, Inc. from May 1989 to December 2003. Mr. Klatell is also a director of Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc. and Chairman of the Board and a director of TTM Technologies, Inc. Mr. Klatell is an independent director. Mr. Klatell received a BA from Williams College and a JD from New York University School of Law.
James J. Loughlin joined Datascope's Board of Directors in September 2004 and was appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee in December 2004. Mr. Loughlin served 40 years with KPMG LLP until his retirement in September 2003. From 1995 to 2003, Mr. Loughlin served as a Global Lead Partner at KPMG, Short Hills, New Jersey. Mr. Loughlin also served as a member of the Board of Directors of KPMG and as chairman of the Pension and Investment Committee of the KPMG Board from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Loughlin is also a member of the Board of Directors of Alfacell Corporation. Mr. Loughlin is an independent director.
William W. Wyman joined the Datascope Board of Directors in May 2005. Mr. Wyman was a founding partner of the consulting firm, Oliver, Wyman and Company, where he served from 1984 to 1995. Previously, he served as President of the Management Consulting Group of Booz, Allen & Hamilton in a career that began in 1965. Currently, Mr. Wyman provides counsel to CEO's and serves as a Director of several companies, including Pegasystems, Stellaris, and Accentus. He also is an Advisor to several private equity partnerships, including CSFB's Sprout Group, and the Castle Harlan Group. Mr. Wyman is an independent director. He received a BA from Colgate University, and an MBA from Harvard.
